SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the SBI Clerk 2025 exam, you need to meet two main requirements: education and age limit.
Educational Qualification (as on 31/12/2025)
- A graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university is required. Those with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) must ensure the passing date is on or before 31/12/2025.
- Additionally, final-year students may apply, provided they can submit proof of graduation before joining
Age Limit (as on 01/04/2025)
- You must be at least 20 years old and not older than 28 years.
- This means your date of birth should be between 02 April 1997 and 01 April 2005 (both dates inclusive).

SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The recruitment process for SBI Clerk 2025 (Junior Associates – Clerical Cadre) involves three stages:
- Preliminary Exam (Prelims)
- Main Exam (Mains)
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
You must clear both Prelims and Mains, followed by the LLPT, to receive your appointment letter from SBI.
Important:
- There is no provision for Inter-Circle or Inter-State transfers for Junior Associates once recruited.
- Trained SBI apprentices may receive bonus marks in the Mains Exam – 2.5% of the total marks (i.e., 5 marks out of 200).
SBI Junior Associate 2025 Exam Pattern
SBI has stated that there will be no sectional cut-off this year. Also, no minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for individual subjects. Final criteria for selection will be decided by SBI.

The starting salary for an SBI Junior Associate is around ₹46,000 per month.
