IBPS RRB 2025 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the IBPS RRB 2025 exam, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. Nationality / Citizenship
A candidate must be:
A citizen of India, or
A subject of Nepal, or
A subject of Bhutan, or
A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, or
A person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or from East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam) to settle permanently in India.
Candidates in categories (ii) to (v) must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
2. Language Proficiency
Candidates applying for Office Assistant posts must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT where the RRB is located.
